A local developer sought advice from Eclipse Planning Services about the potential to demolish an existing single storey prefabricated bungalow and replace with a larger, high quality contemporary designed dwelling fit for modern living in the South Cambridgeshire Green Belt.
We worked collaboratively with the client and architect to determine the form and size of the replacement dwelling and were able to maximise its size by demonstrating the fall-back position that could be achieved under permitted development. The principle and approach were discussed with South Cambridgeshire District Council prior to the submission of the application and our planning strategy was successful and achieved approval for the development.
