Eclipse Planning Services provided planning advice and secured permission for a new purpose-built studio school in Feltham designed to meet the specific teaching needs of Space Studio West London.

Catering for 300 students aged 14-18 years, the new contemporary styled educational building provides circa 2,000sqm of floorspace over two floors specialising in Space, Aerospace, Science, Engineering and Maths with work based learning opportunities.

Key planning issues included the principle of the development, its design and appearance, the impact on adjoining occupiers and highway network as well as its BREEAM credentials. Eclipse Planning Services engaged with the Local Planning Authority and community prior to the submission of the application and worked closely with the project team to address these issues and ensure a robust planning submission and a successful outcome.
