Eclipse Planning Services were commissioned by the owners of this luxury boutique guest house to advise on an exciting proposal to expand their business with the provision of a restaurant, spa and two additional guest suites.

Eagle Mill is a former mill house and a Grade II listed building, located outside Houghton, with a number of existing trees and nature conservation considerations. Eclipse Planning gained consent for the proposal, successfully demonstrating the case for the expansion of this local business. The innovative design proposed respected both the setting of the listed building and countryside location and sensitively addressed the retention and protection of existing trees.
