Combined Heat and Power Station, Thetford

Eclipse Planning Services prepared a planning application for a 40MW biomass combined heat and power station for MEIF Renewable Energy Holdings at Mundford Road, Thetford. This was a complex project, with a multi-disciplinary team to address a range of technical matters including the waste hierarchy and management, impacts on heritage assets, European nature conservation designations, landscape and visual impacts, pollution and traffic generation.

Eclipse Planning Services led the consultant team and project managed the application which included an Environmental Impact Assessment and extensive stakeholder and community consultation.
