Our client had received pre-application advice from South Cambridgeshire District Council in respect of a proposal for three new dwellings in which concerns had been raised over the height, massing and number of new dwellings that could be accommodated on this village site, partially located within the Conservation Area. Eclipse Planning Services were appointed to appraise the concerns and advise on how they could be addressed.

Working closely with the architects and Council, prior to and following the submission of an application, we demonstrated the merits of a proposal to replace the existing frontage dwelling and construct three new dwellings to the rear and achieved planning consent.
